I am interested in questions that arise at the intersection of faith and philosophy.\u00a0 My current research concerns the concept of faith itself.\u00a0 The prevailing view is that faith is a certain kind of belief.\u00a0 However, some biblical scholars and theologians have argued that faith is more properly thought of as trust and\/or commitment than belief.\u00a0 The conception of faith as trust has the potential to alter the dynamics of current debates over whether faith violates epistemic norms.\u00a0 It is, thus, worth exploring this concept of faith, and that is the focus of my current research. <\/p>\n\n\n
